Rec. Dec. 26, 6.10 p.m. Calcutta, Dec. 25. Official circles in Delhi state that the Anglo-Persian oil dispute has taken a turn for the better. There is reason to hope that it will be. settled amieably without the intervention of the League. The tone of the diplomatic exchanges has returned to normal and are of a friendly character and the anti-British demonstrations at Telieran have ceased.
