WAIOTAHI BRANCH MXKES NEW APROINTMENTS FOR YEAR

I The Waiotahi Women's Institute meeting was held in the Waiotahi Hall on Wednesday, December 14. Mrs. kScott read a letter from a sister insti- | tute in England after which the following new appointments to the institute were made. Auditor, Mrs. White; programmes, Miss Abbott; roll call, Mrs. Malcolm; official hostesses, ' Mesdames R. Du Pontet, Malcolm, White, A. Debreceny. It was deeidcd that as the usual meeting was not heing held in January, a picnie slioukl be given at the Ohiwa beach. The Fehruary meeting will talce the form of a garden party at Mrs. Toone's residence. An exhihition of oid fashioned fancy work and photographs was given in connection with the roll call, "What Our Grandmothers Did Without." The saies table of produce and fancy work was well patronised. The institutes' songs and the National Anthem concluded the happy meeting.
