BANANA SHIPMENT

Suva, December 23. The' first shipment of 1.000 eases of bananas for Sydney left in the Niagara to-day. Mr. Barnes, Fiji's Direetor of Agriculture, and Major Glive Joske, president of the Fiji Banana Association, will aceompany the shipment. The fruit is of good quality.
