G. J. DE MEY D'ALKEMADE
Wellington, Friday. The death occurred at Palmerston North hospital at the age of 78 years after a long illness, of Baron G. Jack De Mey D'Alkemade, who for many years was physical instructor in the New Zealand permanent artillery. He was born at Lille, France, and was the eldest son of Baron Edward De Mey D'Alkemade. He came to New Zealand in 1879.
