Mrs. Herd R. Marriot and her daughter, Miss Shirley Marriott, of Karori, Wellington, have .arrived in Rotorua and exp'ect to be here until the epd of February. Mr and Mrs. T. B. Clay, of Mt. Albert, Auckland, are paying a visit to Rotorua, wh'ere they are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Clay, (of Whakarewarewa. 1 Mrs. L. J. Bayfeild, of Pukeroa, spent last week-end in Auckland. Miss Lulu Hodgson, of Waikato Diocesan College, Hamilton, is a guest of Miss Jean Pearce, of Fenton1 St. this week. Mls. M. Roland and family of Eruera Street, have left to spend a holiday by the sea at Takapuna. Miss Edith Robinson, who has been staying with Mrs. W. A. Carter, of Sophia St. for some months, has left for Timaru, where she will spend an extended holiday with her sister, Mrs. Claude Johnson. Mrs. W. A. Carter, of Sophia St., leaves at the end of the week on a holiday visit to the north. Mrs. Pearce, of Cambridge, is paying a visit to her daughter, Mrs. H. P. Ford, of Malfroy Road Vest.
