DROWNING GIRL RESCUED BY A CHAMPION ALSATIAN

Sydney, Dec. 21 Dozens of people witnessed the rescue of a little girl, Malsa Callow, from drowning at Rushcutters' Bay by a champion Alsatian dog. The owner of the dog was about to dive in when it leaped over his head, swam to the struggling girl, gripped her clothing at the back of the neck, and brought her ashore, holding the girl's head out of the water.
