SMASH W PARIS 'PLANE CRASHES ON TO BUILDING KILLING TWO BENZINE EXPLODES

Rec. Dec. 21, 7.0 p.m. Paris, Deeember 20. A military 'plane crashed on the roof of a house in a Parisian suburb. The pilot was killed instantly. The inmates rushed into the. street, and policemen and volunteers using ladders, attempted to reach the wreck. A septogenarian peasant returned to the house to fetch her saVtTigs when a violent explosion occurred owing to the petrol reaching the stove through the chimney. The.flames kill- , ed the woman and injured nine others.
