FIRST RICH FINDS NOT .SUSTAINED IN VALUE

Dunedin, Wednesday. The recent important discovei*y of rich gold prospects in an old creek bed of the West Coast has been investigated by Mr. R. T. Stewart, mining engineer of Dunedin, who reports that although 17oz were secured in the original area, no further prospects of value have been ohtained. The locality is midway between Reefton and Muchison.
