CLOSING CAMBRIDGE SALE MAINTAINS LATE RATES The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, (Limited, Hamilton, report as follows on their last Cambridge stoclc' sale for th'e year held yesterday: Cattle: A medium offering, including only a few good quality cows brought prices fully up to late Frankton quotations under a steady demand. There was little alteration in values for a fair entry of store cattle, including a few pens of yearling heifers. Light quality steers £3 14s; prime fat cow and heifer beef £2 10s to £3 ls/ medium conditioned £1 18s to £2 7s 6d; lighter £1 12s to £1 17s 6d; inferior and unfinished £1 8s to £1 11s; bast atores £1 2s to £1 6s; poorer 17s to £1 ls; inferior 10s to 16s; medium yearling heifer s £1 5 s to £1 18s; inferior to £1 2s 6d. Sheep: A number of fat lamjbs clianged hands at values on a level witli recent Frankton quotations. Prime lambs 10s 6d to 11s 3d; med- • , ium quality 9s 6d to 10s. Pigs. Both fat and store pigs came | forward in good numbers. The demand was a shade easier, and prices declined slightly. Light baconers £1 12s to £1 14s; medium porlcers £1 4s to £1 7s 6d; light do. £1 to £1 3s; stores 15s to 18s; slips Us to 14s; weaners to 8/6.
