PULLMAN COACH

REAR-ENGINED LUXURY. The latest in road night motorcoaches in America is a rear-engined vehicle of aluminium alloy. Described as a "Highway Pullman," it is 33ft in length and in divided into six 1 separate compartments similar to those in European railway carriages. Each compartment has a wash-basin j and shaving-mirror, a radio, electric lights and fan, and hot and ice water. The berths are 6ft 3in long, with liberal headroom, and air-filled mattresses. Luxurious as it is, and fitted with an engine capable of propelling it at 70 miles an hour, the coach weighs only 18,50001b.
