HERRIOT MAY RETURN
NEW PREMIER'S GREETINGS Rec. Dec. 19, 8.0 p.m. Paris, Dec. 19. Twelve of the 17 Ministei*s were members during the Herriot Government. M. Boncour's appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs shares the continuity of M. Herriot. The most remarkable appointment is that of M. Cheron, to the Finance portfolio, but the Socialists doubtless consider him a clever financier. M. Boncour sent affectionate greetings to M. Herriot as the "leader of yesterday and to-morrow," the implication being that the settlement of the debt will enable him to return i to office.
