DUNEDIN FIRM'S REPLY TO OVERTURES CONCERING U.S. FRUIT

Dunedin, Saturday. This morning a leading produce firm received the f ollowing cablegram from the United States of America. "In view of the Dominion embargo on Australian fruit are you ordering Californian?" The reply was: "In view of America's attitude towards England, certainly not." Local retailers have so far not eonsidered any action.
