OLD PUPILS RETURN
PLEASANT AFTERNION AT HIGH SCHOOL.
A most enjoyable afternoon was held at the High School last Wednesday, wh'en the present girls entertained the old girls of the school iat a "Yankee" tenBis tournament. An ideal day left nothing to he desired as far as tennis weather was concerned, and the tournament, in eharge of Miss E. Simmers iand the school prefects, was a most happy affair and did mnch to hring past and pr?s'3nt pupil3 together. During the afternoon the. guests were entertaintd at a dainty tea served in the technical school huilding. Miss Treacy Johnston, on hehalf of the old girls, expressed thanks and appreciation for the afternoon's enjoyment, and hoped that next year would see more of such friendly meetings hetween old and new pupils, Miss Simmers briefly replied. Among the old girls present were Miss Treacy Johnson, Miss Norine Devin," Miss Roma Steele, Miss Mary Bertram, Miss Hazel Ford, Miss Jean Winslade, Miss Gwenneth La Trohe Hill, Miss Myrtle Ford, Miss Yvonne Ford, Mis3 Vivien Hale, Miss Margaret Sloane, Miss Robina Johnson, Miss Freda Bates, Miss Doreen Kingon, Miss Edna Clarke, Miss Maud Mitchell, Mis3 Riri Kingi, Miss Wiha Hall, Miss Jean Allen.
