In answer to a question from the Bench, the boy said that he had been working for one man but had not received any wages. The interpreter explained that the boy had been' left to he brought up by his relations. After the relative;; had been communicated with by telephone, the Bench decided to place the accused on probation for twelve j months. They instructed the interpreter to explain to the boy that he wa3 to rernain with' the man to whom ha was being sent and that he was under the charge of the sergeant of police and his employer.
