Captain Hans Bertram's wrecked 'plane will be dismantled here and the aviator will return to Darwin to make 1 another attempt upon the record. The whole of the undercarriage of the machine was wrecked. John Dobson, twenty years of age, who eoncealed himself in Bertram's 'plane, is a Tasmanian by birth. He says that he had no special object in his act except to have "a nice trip." He said that it never entered his head he would endanger the life of the pilot. The police are sending him back to Australia.
