Rec. Dec. lo. Geneva, Dec. 12. The Committee of Nineteen had a lively diseussion on Manchuria. The Irish Free State and other small Powers wanted to take a strong line of action but Britain and France eounselled moderation.The drafting committee including Sir John Simon, Signor Massigli and M. Benes (Czecho Slovakia), were ap- ] ointtnl to submit a resolution on \v ednesday. The committee is likely to accept Sir John Simon's proposal and reaffn m the Special Assembly's resolution as recently adopted.
