GUIDE NOTES

The Opotiki Company of Girl Guides. met at the Parish Hall on Tuesday evening. Captain Morell and Li'eutenant E. Pattle were present. After Roll Call and inspeetion, the Guides played some of their favourite games in the church grounds. The Guides have decided to hold a pdcnie on the Waiotahi Beach on Saturday, December 17 and have asked the Waimana Guides- to join them at the picnic. Work occupied the remainder of the evening, and the parade was brought to a close by the singing of "Taps."
