RIDERS COLLIDE

SERIOUS ACCIDENT Auckland, Mqnday. The sudden collapse of a front tyre of a racing motor cycle resulted in three prominent cinder track ridqrs becoming involved in a spectacular smash at the "Western Springs Speedway this evening. One of the three, C. Goldberg, aged 23 years, received copcussion and was taken to the Auckland hospital. The other two, A. Mattson, New Zealand champion, was rendered unconscious, but recovered, and T. Stevenson, one of England's tqam, escaped unhurt.
