FAIR CATTLE YARDING BUT FEW SHEEP OFFERING Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report on the monthly stock sale held on Friday at Opotiki. There was a fair yarding of cattle, but only a few pens of sheep were offered. A total clearance was effected under the hammer at current rates. We quote: — Fat cows and heifers, 35s to £2 12s; store cows, 10s to 19s; others, 7s 6d; yearling Jerseys cross heifers, r.w.b., 14s to 26s; two-year steers, £1 to 32s; springing cows, £4 to £5 2s 6d; potter bulls, 15s to 20s; fat ewes, 5s to 6s.
