Sir, — Since my letter on the sub- ' ject of the very grave menace of the . i'oot and mouth disease, I have re1 ceived a letter from one who ' gets a i Devon paper, giving details of a ret eent out-break on Windsor farm, in ; that county. The farm is oeeupied by 1 Mr. W. Hudson and the whole of his : stud was slaughtered and burned on the farm, under the supervision of ofiicials of the Ministry of Agriculture. The stock, comprising 20 head of cattle, 176 sheep and 30 pigs, was put into specially dug pits and 9 tons of coal and a similar amount of wood was used in the burning. We are getling overrun by blights and pests, yet, if this one is allowed to come here it could do more harm than all ihe others put together, also -prevent us exporting live-stock to the many parts of the world where it is so keenly sought. — I am, etc.,
