SHEEP QUOTATIONS ARE IMPROVED AT FRANKTON Hamilton, Tuesday. There was a small yarding of sheep at the weekly stock sale at the Frankton yards to-day when all classes were lirmer than last week's quotations. There was a medium yarding of beef and quotations showed little alterations. Pigs were penned in average numbers and values showed a firming t'ndency. Quotations: — Sheep. — Heavy fat shorn wethers, 13s to 13s 6d; medium shorn wethers, 11s 9d to 12s 6d; light shorn wethers, 10s 9d to 11s 6d; heavy fat ewes, Gs 6s to 8s; light and medium ewes, 5s o Gs 3d; fat hoggets, 12s to 13s 3d; fat lambs, 11s to 12s Gd. Beef: Medium fat bullocks, £4 15s to £5 5s; lighter fat bullocks, £3 18s to £4 10s; heavy fat cowrs and heif.ts, £3 15s to £4 ls; lighter fat cows, 5s to £3 10s; light fat cows, £2 10 £2 17s Gd. Pigs.— Heavy baconers, 34s to 44s; aeavy -porkers, 26s to' 32s; weaners, 12s to 16s; stores, 18s to 25s.
