HUGE ONIONS
TWENTY-ONE POUND BULB GROWN IN N.S.W. Sydney, November 28Onions of a phenomenal size have been grown near Narrahri in sandy loam in the scrub country. One onion weighed 21 lbs. A few smaller ones were 51b each, with a girth of 11 inches. Some farms produced watermelons 501bs in weight.
