WHEAT FARMERS THREATEN TO WITHHOLD CROP

Rec. Nov. 28, 8-35 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 28. Wheat growers of Western Australia and Victoria are demanding a bounty of sixpence a bushel and fourpence a bushel respectively from the Federal Government, under threat of withholding this year's harvest from sale and delivery. The growers of Western Australia are demanding, not only the sixpence a bushel, but also insist that their own Government provide seeurity of tenure for five years and a preferential agreement of not less than £150 a year on crops to provide for sustenance and farm development. The demands are causing the Federal Ministers the deepest coneern as it is anticipated that the hounty problem will be the hurning.question, when the Financial Relief Bill comes before the House of Representatives. on Tuesday.
