HEALTH INSPECTOR'S PURSUE ARSENIC TAINTED CABBAGES Perth, Nov. 19Prompt action hy Health Inspectors in preventing a consignment of cabbage sprayed with arsenie from going to human consumption has probably saved several lives. Suspeeting the appearance of cabbages submitted by an auctioneer, an inspector investigated and found them to he full of arsenie. Part of the consignment had been sold. Lists of buyers were supplied, and the inspectors speedily gathered in the purchases hefore any of the cabbages had been retailed. Samples were submitted to the Government analyst, who confirmed the inspeetor's suspicions. The Chief Health Inspector said to-day that there had been potential death in the consignment, for even the heat of cooking would not have removed the danger of poisoning.
