The Chronicle's eorrespondent at Warsaw says that while a congregation of 1000 was attending Mass in ihe Church of the Holy Cross, a wedding service was being celehrated in an adjoining chapel. The fioor collapsed", and the hride, bridegroom, priest and hundreds of worshippers were buried in the d'ehris. The choir was thrown to the bottom of the thousand-year-old cellars beneaih the church. Many casualties are feared.
