THEFT FROM CHURCH
The theft of £1 18s 8£d from the vestry of St. Stephen's Church, Opotiki, was cleared up on Wednesday when a boy was brought before the Children's Court and admitted the charge. Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., committed him to the care of the child welfare office and he is later to be placed on a farm.
