DETTON BEATS ELLIOTT IN WILLING BOUT AT MARTON

Marton, Nov. 17. In a thrilling and spectacular wrestling match staged here to-night Dene Detton defeated King Elliott in four rounds. The wrestling was splendid, Elliott securing a submission fall with a crucifix in the second round, and was well ahead on points, when early in the fourth round, Detton evened matters with a submission fall from a hammer lock. Elliott held on too long and had the sinews of his left arm so badly strained that he was unable to continue when the gong sounded for the fifth round. Matters beeame very willing at times, and the poliee warned Detton twice.
