STILL MORE PROOF.

GREAT PRODUCTIVB VALUE. Here is yet another useful testimony of what is being done with limonite. A letter address-eu to Mr. B. C. Aston, chief chemist of the Agricultural Department, from Mr. G. A. Pearce, of Puketurua, shows that his sheerp have also b'enefitted in a most encouraging manner. He says: "I am pleased to be able to inform you that 1 have so far been unable to detect any signs in my lambs of fading this season. They taka the limonite freely from the time they are ten days old and the change is really marvellous from other seasons. "This district and many others have to thank your department for the greatest discovery of recent years and I sincerely hope that Mr. Taylor's experiments under your direction at Atiamuri will not be discontinued through any false economy. The increasa in the production per cow under control and limonite treatment on even sime-sick country needs to be clearly demonstrated to th'e dairyman and I.do not think I exaggerate when I say that within a few years the increased production will he worth £500,000 annually t to the State, in- : cluding production from land that will now be broken in, but would otherwise have remained virgin. May I orrer you my sincerest thanks and heartiest congratulations."
