BEEF QUOTATIONS SHOW EASIER TREND AT FRANKTON Hamilton, Tuesday. There was a large yarding of sheep at the weekly stock sale at the Frankton yards to-day. Prices for wethers and hoggets were on a par with last week's quotations, while ewes dropped considerably. Spring lambs were firmer than the previous week. Cattle was yarded in large numbers and both ox and cow beef was considerably easier. There was a large yarding of pigs and last week's quotations were not maintained. Quotations : — Sheep. — Heavy px-ime fat shorn wethers, 12s to 13a; xxxedium prixxxe shorn wethers, Hs3dtolls9d; light prime shorn wethers, 9s 6d to 10s 6d; prime shorn xxxaiden tewes, 6s to 6s 6d; prime woolly maiden ewes, 6s 6d to 7s 6d; px-ime fat ewes, 5s to 5s 6d; mediurn fat ewes, 3s 9d to 4s 6d; primo shorn hoggets, 10s to 11s; prime woolly hoggets, 10s to 11s 6d. Beef — Prime heavy fat bulloeks, £5 15s to £6 4s; lighter fat bulloeks, £4 5s to £5 10s; light fat bulloeks, £3 18s to £4 2s; heavy fat cows, £5 to £5 10s; lighter prime fat cows, £3 17s 6d to £4 12s 6d; light fat cows, £2 10s to £3 5s. Pigs. — Heavy baconers, 30s to 42s; heavy porkers, 22s to 30s; weaners, 10s to 16s.
