Wanganui, Tuesday. The juyy raturned a verdict of guilty against Jabez William Mace Luxford, ex-chairman of the Technical Col7 lege and Fire Board, on charges of forging doetiments in the name pj: Ross and Glendinning, in order to supjily goods to the Technical College Board. It was stated in evidence that Luxford had obtained supplies of billheads from Ross and Glendinning's local branch. The jury added a rider that in their opinion Luxford had authority to use Rqss and Glendinning's invoi'ces, and may have thought that he had authority to *Jso sign receipts on vouchers.
