CLEANING CELLULOSE
Since its advent as an almost universally adopted finish for coach-huilt car hodies (says Morris owner) cellulose has puzzled a good many owners by its behaviour uxider treatment ; by certain cleaning and polishing pre- j parations. A noticeahle colour re- J moval pr "bleeding" has been niani- , fest, but this' app'arent loss, to all in- J tents* and' purposes, does not affect j th'e lasting qualities of the finish. It is' felt, however, ' that owner-drivers I would like to have furth.er assurance 1 that the colour which app'ears on their | cleaning cloths is'not2ecidehce o'f ■ r apid j deterioration in tjie finish of jfcheir j cars. For some time now the proprie- i tors of Karpol have he'en conducting i experiments into the J>est jnethods of preserving cellulose, and their re- , searches have recently • culminated in ' ihe production, of a* brarid' of Karpol for iellulose. j
