Rifle Team Comedy.
When the members of the New Zealand rifie team that competed in the reeent championship meeting in New South Wales reached Wellington in the Zealandia this week, they were obliged to re-register their rifies, When the team l'eft the Dominion the rifies were de-registered, and on the return of the marksmen the weapons were carefully examined by the authorities before they could be removed from the ship, "As per regulations, I supp'ose," said a member of the team, as he earried his carefullywrapped rifie down the gangway.
