GANDHI CONTEMPLATING SECOND IMMOL ATION WITH HINDU

Calcutta, Nov. 5. Realising that his campaign for Hindu caste prejudices against the untouchables has been unsuecessful, Gandhi now threa.tens to resume his fast until, death -unless the Hindus implement the agreement recently reached at Poona between caste and untouchable representatives. Gandhi comments Cn the action of the Hindu, Kelappan, in fasting because caste Hindus refuse to open a temple to untouchables at Keraia', Soiitherfi India, and adds, "If the temple is nbt opened hy January 1, J will fast with Kelappan."
