BAND OF HOPE EVENING

The Band of Hope met in St. John's Hall on Tuesday evening, Mrs. J. T. Thompson presiding. Captain Thompson of the Salvation Army conducted the community singing, and the following programme was rendered. Duet, Misses Nellie and Freda Johnson; recitation, Master Bobbie Burnett; recitation, Miss Margaret Kidd; recitation, Master George Pearson; duet, Misses Jean Griffiths and Vida Burnett; recitation, Miss Rona Wilkinson; ^ company song "Two Little Hands" by Misses Hazel and Patricia Tew, Alison Herring, Hazel McNaught Dell Atawell, Dina Conley, Leone Edmonds, and Miss Valerie Thompson pianist; recitation, Master Lewis Parkinson. A very interesting address on "All Saints' Day" was given by the Rev. N. F. Benham, after which the collection was taken up and the Benediction pronouneed.
