SALE AT MORRINSVILLE

Morrinsville, Tuesday. The Farmers' Co-operative Auction'eering Company Ltd., report having} held a clearing sale at Morrins- > ville on account of Mr. J. Forlong. There was a fair attendance of buyers, and young Jersey cows met with good competition. The older cows were not in -great demand. The 45 cows sold averaged £6 15/-. Young Jersey and Jersey cross cows £7 10/- to £10 10/-, older Jersey cows £4 to £7, best Shorthorn cows £6 to £7 10/-, inferior sorts £2 to £4 15/-, Friesian cows £6 15/- to £9 5/-, yearling Jersey heifers £3 7/6; heifer calves 7/6 to £1 6/-.
