HIT AND RUN

INJURED WOMAN FOUND LYING ON RQADSIDE Napier, Wednesday. Serious injuries to the head were sustained hy Annie Parsons, aged 25 years, at Te Kuti near Wairoa, as a result of being knocked down in Bay View Road this evening, by a truck whose driver failed to stop. Mrs. Parsons, who is staying with relatives at Bay View, was wallcing toward Napier. The truck, which was proceeding in the same direction, struck her and threw her -heavily to the grass at the side of the road.
