THE INTEREST RATE Rec. Nov. 2, 9.45 p.m. London, November 2. The Financial Times comments: "The terms are rather favourable to the investors, for the Government could haye borrowed at a flat three per cent. It is well to recall the treipendous change for the better brought by the National Government in a year. "No country on or off the gold standard has brought about a revival such as that in Great Britain. The foreigner still ocqasionally hes- ' itates over the sterling, especially when such incidents as hunger marching qre magnified beyond all relation to fact. Here we know the real strength of the country."
