• Rec. Nov. 2, -5.5 p.m. iRugby, November 1. Following the announcement that the Treasury on F.ebruary 1 will repay the outstandipg halance amounting to £114,000,000 of 5 per cpnt. Treasury bonds redeemahlfe fropn 1933 to 1935, the prospectus has been issuad of a new conversion loan. It states that the Bank of England is authorised to receive applications for a conversion loan of £300,000.000 at £3 per eent., redeemable at par on March 1, 1953, or at any time on or after March 1, 1948. The issue price will be £97 10s. The list of applications will be op'ened and closed on Thursday, November 3, 1932. Interest will be paid half-yearly on March 1 and September 1, the first payment being made on -Luarch 1, 1933. The Postmaster-General is also authorised to receive applications fpr separate issue of the above loan. Allotments in full will be made in respect to all subscriptions to the post office issue, the dividends of which will he paid without deductions of tax at the source. ( Applications for the post office issue may be for £10 or any1 multiple not exceeding £1000 and the first interest payment will he made on March 1, 1933.'
