Burrows moved as an amendment that the association take imraediate steps to proceed with building at a cost of not more than £3000. Mr. H. W. Beale seconded and Mr. Keane agreed to withdraw his motion. Mr. Armer thought they should go to the extent of £4000, but his suggestion received no support and Mr. Burrows' motion was carried with' a large majority. It was then decided that the general committee proceed ' with the building in ac'cordance with the terms of the previous resolution, the committee to meet on Monday next in order that the worlc should be put in hand without any further unnecessary delay. ^ -
