Greymouth, Friday. . Coinci(len.t w|th the annopncement to-day, of the. £200 reward in connection with the recent bomb explosion at .the residence ef Police Inspector Lopdell, there was, this evening, another explosion of presumahly a similar missile. The scene this time, however, was the police station itself. About 9.5 p.m. a loud report wns hegrd over a eonsiderable area, but strange to relate no indication was subsequently obtainable as to exactly where the explosion happened. ; The smell of explosives was noticed in the vicinity of the station, the windows of which were shaken, but ho sign of damage was discernable when thes police searched. Presumahly the explosive went off in the air before landing and must have been within 20 yards of the building.
