CALF CLUBS
VALUE TO CHILDREN. In the course of a letter to the Morrinsville -A. and P. Association, the Auckland Provincial Council of A. and P. Associations urges the establishment of calf clubs and says: — "The educative value derived from calf clubs is of inestimable benefit to the boys and girls, and tends directly to keep them on the land," stated the letter. "This work gives the child an opportunity to see the objectives of his future career, and gives him a new idea and ambition for the future just at the most impressionable age. We strongly urge all A. and P. Associations, where no calf clubs exist, to give the matter their earnest consideration. Full particulars relative to the conditions governing calf clubs have already been supplied to you."
