FUNDING LOAN NOT ADVISABLE AT PRESENT Melbourne, October 27. The Herald's Melbourne correspondent says that the Premiers' Conference has abandoned the proposal for an internal loan of £20,000,000, and is likely to agree to an alternative proposal for an internal loan of £8,000,000 to £10,000,000. Mr. J. A. Lyons informed the Premiers that the Associated Banks considered it advisable to float a funding loan at this juncture.
