Hamilton, Wednesday. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report: — At Frankton yesterday we had only a small yarding of sheep and the market improved slightly on late rates. Hoggets were again firm. Cattle: Only a medium yarding of ox beef with no alteration on late rates. Cow beef came forward in smaller numbers, but this did not affect the demand and prices were easier on late rates. There was a heavy yarding of store cattle, comprising mostly yearling heifers. These did not command as much attention as previously, but in many cases vendors met the market. Pigs: There was an extra heavy yarding of fat pigs- and an average yarding of stores and weaners. Prices for both fats and stores were slightly easier. Quotations: — Sheep. Prime fat wethers 13/1 to 13/6, medium fat wethers 11/- to 11/9, lighter fat wiethers 10/- to 10/6, heavy fat hoggets 13/- to 13/6, I lighter 11/3 td, 12/-, heavy fat ewes 8/- to 8/9, lighter fat ewes 6/11 to 7/6.
