man takes own life belieying had cancer

London-, October 24. "I know I have got eancer. I would rather die early than linger." Such was the note left by Howard Fisher, composer of songs, includmg "My Old Yiolin." He was found dead from poisoning. His widow, giving evidence, said her husband worried because his parents had died of cancer. He twice previously took overdoses of medinal, which he used owing to sleeplessness. Sir Bernard Spilshury, Home Offiee pathologist, gave evidence that the post mortem revealed no sign of cancer.
