Miss Rita Cummings, of Whakatane, spent Lahour Week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beamish, of Amohia Street, Rotorua. Miss Mactier, of Rotorua, is'spending a holiday at Bayswater, her old home, Miss Olive Beamish, of Amohia Street, Rotorua, has been spending a few days with friends in Whakatane. _ C. Taylor, of the chemistry division of the Agricultural Department, left town yesterday for Bay of Plenty districts where h© is to deliver a series of lectures to farmers upon hush sickness in stock and the use, of limonite as a remedy.
