Managh's fara | Ngongotaha. Owing to the inclei mency of the weather during. th i whole week, a decision to play was not arrived at until a late liour the same morning, the attendanee consequently suffering. But the enthusiasm displayed by both those who took part and those who looked on, augers well for the future success of the game. Sticks and balls were provided, and for the present it was resolved that anyone wishing to take part must purchase a stick and after the day's play, allow it to be pqplei This, it was agreed, would allow oi all the sticks being made availabli on future playing days. The next game will be piayed nei week-end commencing at 2 p.m., a intending players or spectators beip welcome.
