VOLUNTEER STAFF CARRYING ON AT HOROTIU WORKS.
Hamilton, Saturday. Work is proceeding smoothly at the
Horotiu Freezing Works with the present volunteer staff. Killing of pigs and bobby calves for export is being carried on satisfactorily. _ ■ It is understood that there are still vacanies for qxperienced slaughtermen and other workers. Several young men have been taken on with the object of learning the trade.
