Rec. Oct. 23, 5.5 p.m. 1 Tokio, Oct. 22. Originating in a cinema at midnight, a conflagration in Ishikawa prefecture destroyed 1200 hopses. The military assisted the firemen who were hampered by a severe gale. The town was similarly destroyed in March, 1930.
