INTER-CLUB MATCH ROTORUA TEAMS BEATEN BY FOUR MATCHES AT TE AROHA FOURSOMES AND SINGLES " An inter-club match was played between the Rotorua and Te Aroha ladies' golf clubs on Tuesday on the Te Aroha links in ideal weather. A foursomes match was played in the morning and a singles match in the afternoon, the Te Aroha players winning by 12 games to eight, two matches being all square. Following are the results, Rotorua names being mentioned first. — . Foursomes Miss Snodgrass and Mrs. Butler lost to Mrs. Halligan and Mrs Hunger, 1 up. Mrs Parata and Mrs. Haymes heat Mrs. Kenny and Mrs. McClachan, 1 up. Mrs. Budd and Miss Moon beat Mrs. Bliss and Mrs. McLeod, 2 up. Mrs. Sp'edding and Mrs. J. Sheriff lost to Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Clarke, 3 up. Miss Corlett anu Mrs. Bayfeild lost to Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. Dempster, 2 up. Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Walden lost to Mrs. Mackie and Miss Bliss, 1 up. Miss Clark and Miss Gordon lost to Mrs. Gaw and Mrs. Leitch, 3 up. Singles Miss Snodgrass lost to Mrs. Halligan, 3 and 2. Mrs. Butler and Mrs. Hunger, all square.
