Rec. Oct: 21, 1.20 a.m. London, October 20. The Hon. Downie Stewart, New Zealand Minister of Finance, aecoilipanied by the Secretary to the Treasury, Mr. W. D. Park, conducted important financial negotiations on behalf of the New Zealand Government during their stay in London. Before sailing for New Zealand by the Rangitane to-day, Mr. Stewart said that their visit had giveh them a much clearer perspective of conditions in the Dominion whose efforts to cope with the crisis had been tnost favourably commented upon in London. Sir Edward Hardinge, on behalf if the Dominions' Offlce, farewelled Yr. Stewart, who lunched yesterday vith Mr. J. H. Thomas, Secretary of 3tate for the Dominions.
